We Are Expecting The Highest Summer Gas Prices In Years
For the last few months you may have noticed gas prices rising. According to Yahoo.com, they will be the highest in 3 years this summer. The US Energy Information Administration says that gas prices will be significantly more expensive than last year when drivers weren’t using as much fuel due to the pandemic.
A few reasons for the raise in price include: crude oil prices increasing, vaccinations are leading to more travel, and the intensity of the winter made it hard on refineries. According to the gas price tracking website GasBuddy and AAA US drives will be spending close to $3 a gallon by Memorial Day.
