Imagine getting your favorite ice cream flavor blended with your favorite topping for less than one dollar. That's not a bad way transition into the start of fall. Dairy Queen is making it a reality announcing they will be selling their Blizzards for 85 cents for a limited time.
This promotion will start on Monday, September 11. It then lasts for almost two weeks (ending on Sunday September 24), where you can score a small Blizzard for 85 cents. But, why 85 cents you may ask? Well, the blizzard was invented in 1985.
Here's What You Need To Know
Those interested in scoring this sweet deal must download the Dairy Queen app to get it. You then have to become a DQ rewards member. It could take up to 24 hours for the offer to show in your app.
What type of Blizzard you indulge is up to you. However, you may be interested in the new fall menu Diary Queen unveiled yesterday.
"Fall’s triumphant return ushers in an exciting rotation of seasonal BLIZZARD® Treats, including two major Fan favorites: Snickerdoodle Cookie Dough and classic Pumpkin Pie!" Dairy Queen stated. In addition, Oreo, Caramel Fudge, Hot Cocoa, Cheesecake, Chocolate-Dipped Strawberry, and Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Pie are on the fall menu as well. Lastly, there's also a new Royal Reese's Fluffernutter option.
"Get ready to celebrate the season and make this a flavor-filled fall to remember," Dairy Queen said.
Limited Time, Signature, Candy Classics, and Royal
The Blizzard menu is broken into four categories. Signature is where you will find the traditional flavors such as chocolate chip cookie. Candy classics include the likes of Butterfinger, and Snickers. Royal has an additional sweet core filling. Obviously, limited time references the aforementioned specials that were announced for fall.
Regardless of your favorite flavor, the end of summer just got a little sweeter with Dairy Queen announcing Blizzards will be sold for 85 cents for two weeks in September.
