OnlyInYourState.Com compiled a nice little list of these nine hole-in-the-wall restaurants in Delaware.

There is no shortage of delicious restaurants in the first state. Although, a lot of them are widely known and usually pretty crowded.

We took the list of hole-in-the-wall restaurants in Delaware and decided to add a couple of our own favorites. Though these joints are tiny, they pack big flavor and do not disappoint.

Hidden Gem Delaware Restaurants

Some of the best places are usually unassuming. That’s why they’re called hidden gems. Now some of these may not be that “hidden”. In fact, a lot of the places on this list are quite popular!

Rightfully so! They bring a certain “je ne sais quoi” to the world of dining out. Right here in Wilmington, we are lucky to have a plethora of places to spend lunch or a night out.

Usually, these eateries are family owned and have been around for much longer than you’d imagine. So of course, they’ve earned the title of being one of the most delicious restaurants in Delaware!

Limited Seating at Best Delaware Restaurants

One thing you definitely have to expect though, is that it will most likely be packed when you go. If there’s one thing we know about a good hole-in-the-wall restaurant, it’s that seating is limited.

The other thing about them? They usually don’t have websites!

If you’re looking for the next best place to stop for lunch or take that friend from out of town, take a look at the list below.
