Crabbing can be done all year here in Delaware, with the actual crabbing season running from March 1 - November 30.
Crabbing In Delaware
You do need to have a fishing license to go crabbing in Delaware and there are sizing requirements in order to keep what you catch. According to Delaware Surf Fishing, hard shell must be 5”, soft shell, at least 3.5″, and peeler must measure 3″. Catches are also limited to one bushel per licensed angler.
