It wouldn’t be a holiday without holiday themed coffee from Dunkin! This year they’ve gotten a little more creative than their traditional flavors. Instead of red and green they have us thinking purple this year with their sugarplum macchiato.
Sugarplum just like from the “Nutcracker Ballet” and “Twas the Night Before Christmas” and for those of you who have never had one, they’re made with a caraway or cardamom seed and then have hardened sugar around it. No real plums are actually involved, however the Dunkin drink will be flavored like blueberry, raspberry, blackberry, and plum according to Today.com.
Dunkin will also be releasing frosted snowflake donuts for the holidays. And yes, they are purple too to make them the “perfect purple pairing” for your sugarplum macchiato.
