Hasbro Thrives As Board Game Sales Rise
According to Foxbusiness.com, Hasbro INC beat estimates for their quarterly revenue due to the massive demand for board games such as Monopoly. While schools across the country are holding online classes and outdoor activities have been limited, parents are turning to toys and games to keep their children happy and entertained.
As the holidays approach, Hasbro’s revenue growth is likely to continue. Total revenue from board games over Hasbro’s last quarter rose 21% with brands like “Star Wars” and “The Mandalorian” also helping them in their growth. The toy industry continues to show it’s durability through the changing economic climate. Overall, Hasbro is in a much better position than they were in July when factories were temporarily shutdown.
