This story from ABC15 is for all the dog people and all the cat people out there. The Sunshine Dog Rescue out of Phoenix rescued a stray Australian Shepard mix they found living at a gas station. They named her “Georgia” and quickly learned that she was pregnant. Georgia’s babies were born premature and unfortunately, none of them survived. The poor girl was absolutely heartbroken and distressed. Anita Osa, the founder of Sunshine Dog Rescue, put out a call for help on Facebook, looking for any orphaned animals that needed a mom. Someone brought orphaned kittens and the bond was instant. Georgia accepted the kitties as her own and they even nursed on her.
