Cases Of Exploding Porta Potties In Pittsburgh
According to Pittsburgh.cbslocal.com, this is the second time in two weeks an explosive has gone off in a portable toilet. On November 10th police were called to a construction site on the North Side of Pittsburgh to investigate the explosion.
A Bomb squad determined that the toilet was destroyed by an explosive while a K-9 unit searched the area. Nothing else was found at the scene. There were also no arrests or injuries on site. Police are currently trying to determine if this explosion was related to a call they received the week before. A homeowner reported that a porta potty had exploded at the construction site across the street from her house, also breaking her window.
Police say it’s too early to tell if all of the explosions are related. However there have now been 3 porta potty explosions in Pittsburgh this month.
