Jenny Craig is Making A Comeback

Jenny Craig is making a comeback. One of America’s most popular weight loss, weight management, and nutrition company, Jenny Craig, closed their doors just about two months ago. The company had more than 700 weight management centers in Australia, the United States, Canada, and New Zealand according to Wikipedia.

After the company was shut down, it’s intellectual property was available for sale. The day has come where Jenny Craig diets will live once again. In the coming months, the dieting and weight loss company will be an ecommerce website.

Who bought Jenny Craig? A rival of course. A rival weight-loss meal provider bought the assets out of bankruptcy.

The owner of Nutrisystem, also known as Wellful Inc., acquired Jenny Craig. According to court documents, it was sold for somewhere around $10 million. Brandon Adcock, who now owns Jenny Craig, said it best, “People that have known the Jenny brand — the core aspects around the great food, the coaching, the overall program and the success they previously had — they can expect again.”

Jenny Craig officially filed for bankruptcy in Delaware on May 5, 2023.

List of The Richest Person In Every State

The list of the richest person in every state in 2023 has been released by Forbes. Forbes is known for featuring articles on finance, industry, investing, and marketing topics.

Many of us know the few billionaires who live in the United States that are also celebrity icons. People like Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Warren Buffett and more. But do you know who is the richest person in the state you live? The official Forbes list is below.

Of all 50 people on the list, the total of their combined wealth equals $1,474,400,000.00. You read that right. Just 50 people in America make up $1 trillion, 474 billion, 400 million dollars!

The youngest of the 50 richest people in every state, is 36 year old Lukas Walton, an heir to the Walmart franchise. The oldest is Annette Lerner at 93 years old.

  • Alabama - Jimmy Rane

    Jimmy Rane’s net worth is $1.2 billion. He has made his wealth from being founder and CEO of Great Southern Wood Preserving, which makes decks, fences and other treated lumber products.

  • Alaska - Jonathan Rubini and Leonard Hyde

    Jonathan Rubini and Leonard Hyde are worth $0.4 billion and have made their money from operating JL Properties, a massive commercial real estate developer in Anchorage, Alaska.

    Idaho’s richest person in the state is Frank VanderSloot, worth $3.2 billion. Most known for wellness products and nutrition and being founder and former chief executive officer of Melaleuca.

    Carl Cook is worth $10.3 billion and is CEO of the Cook Group, a medical device company that was co-founded by his parents.
