Sleep Doctor Answers: “Why Do I Wake Up At The Same Time Every Night?”
If you find that you’re always waking up in the middle of the night, at the exact same time, this could be the reason why. According to Yahoo.com, Sleep expert Michael Brues says it’s because your body is running out of fuel. For example if you found that you always woke up around 3AM from sleeping and you last ate at 9 PM. That means you’re awaking up around 9 hours from the last time that you ate.
Brues says that if you’re having issues with waking up in the middle of the night you should have a tea spoon of raw honey before going to bed. You could also try a cup of guava leaf tea about a half hour before you’re going to sleep. Both have been shown to keep your blood sugar stable through out the night.
