19 Pound Cat Found In Chimney After 1 Month
A woman in Union Gap, Washington lost her cat Piper for an entire month. Piper, who weighed a solid 19 pounds went missing while a neighbor’s house was empty and going through construction. Owner Caitlyn Weternberger put up flyers and looked for Piper for an entire month. When the neighbors finally came back to their home they allowed Caitlyn to come inside and look for her cat.
According to UPI.com, the cat was found inside the fireplace damper! When the cat was taken to the vet it was determined they had become dehydrated and lost 7 pounds while missing for four weeks. Good thing Piper had the extra weight to spare!
