TikTok Users Feed Their Dogs Hot Sauce To Record Reaction
There is currently a TikTok trend to feed your dog chicken with hot sauce. As users post their videos capturing their dogs reaction to the hot sauce, others are posting about the dangers of the new trend. In all of the videos the dogs either enjoy the chicken until they realize how hot it is or completely reject the spicy food just from the smell.
According to Insider.com, a popular TikToker who is also a veterinary technician, created their own video warning users the trend could cause pancreatitis.

Other health concerns from feeding your dog spicy food include discomfort in the esophagus, heartburn, and even ulcerations. Dr. Mary Altomare, who is the head veterinarian at the Mount Pleasant Animal Shelter in New Jersey also cautioned against feeding dogs onions and garlic. Which are toxic to animal and are both found in hot sauce. Overall it seems the safest thing to do is keep your pets out of online challenges!
