Peeps Are Back For Easter 2021
After taking a nine month hiatus due to the pandemic, Peeps, the famous Easter candy, will be making their return. The candy making company Just Born decided to stop production of their products back in April of 2020 to protect their employees. Over that nine month period Peep lovers missed out on Halloween, Christmas, and now Valentine’s Day varieties.
The Peeps will be back in all their glory for Spring 2021. They plan on coming back with old favorite and also new flavors including Hot Tamale and Fruit Loops. According to CNN.com, Peeps have been the number oneĀ non-chocolate candy for Easter for over 20 years. They have been around since 1953 when it took 27 hours to make a single one of their treats. Now they can make them in as short as 6 minutes.
