Cape May Creepy “Ghost Tracks” Reappear
A Nor’easter hit the Northeast this week and made the mysterious New Jersey beach ghost tracks visible. In Cape May these century old tracks on the beach are only visible during shifting tides during the hours right before a storm hits.
According to NJ.com, the tracks were visible on January 31st, which is when pictures were posted on the Sunset Beach Facebook Page. The first time the tracks had resurfaced in 80 years was in 2014. The tracks were said to be used in the mid 1900s to support sand mining and munitions test during World War One.
