Teen in India Breaks Record For Longest Hair
A 17-year-old girl in India just broke a world record! In fact, she just broke her own record. Nilanshi Patel officially topped her 2018 Guinness World Record for “longest hair on a teenager”. According to UPI.com, just before her 18th birthday, Patel’s hair measured out to 6 feet and 6.7 inches.
Nilanshi says her motivation for breaking the record was a bad haircut she got when she was six. After the cut left her hair short she hasn’t cut it since. Currently “Rapunzel” is unsure if she would like to continue growing her hair to reach the adult record which was verified in 2004 at 18.5 feet.
