Middletown YMCA Is Moving AND Hiring
The Middletown YMCA is on the move and needs people to fill multiple positions.
On Thursday, June 22nd from 5-7pm at the current Middletown Family YMCA at 404 N. Cass Street the Y will be hosting another job fair in hopes of filling positions before the immanent move.
The Middletown Family YMCA is looking to fill the following positions:
- Lifeguards
- Summer Camp Counselors
- Before & After School Care Counselors
- Member Services Representatives
- Child Care Staff
- Fitness Staff
The positions comes with plenty of benefits!
First positions start at $15 and hour and come with a free membership to the YMCA.
Positions also come with a 12% contribution to the Y Retirement Fund, Health, Vision & Dental Coverage, Tuition Reimbursement, Discounted Program Fees, and Fun environment full of great people.

The new Middletown YMCA facility began construction in 2022. The facility will cost $26 million and boast a 56,000 square foot footprint.
The new center will be on Cochran Street near Silver Lake Pool and be directly across the street from the old facility.
The tentative opening date will be in September of this year.
According to Yahoo! Sports “It will include a full-sized gym, multiple fitness studios, fitness options for those with disabilities and an indoor pool.”
