Spotted Lanternfly

According to UPI, The New Jersey Department of Agriculture is encouraging residents of eight Counties to inspect their cars before leaving their areas to help curb the spread of the spotted lanternfly. The counties under quarantine include Warren, Hunterdon, Mercer, Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Salem and Somerset. The quarantine means that you should make sure there are no spotted lanternflies on your car before you leave. In a statement, the Department of Agriculture describes the pest as excellent hitchikers. Spotted Lanternflies pose a danger to more than 70 plant species!
