Here’s What You CAN Do This Weekend!
Longwood Gardens brought back their illuminated fountain performances on Friday and Saturday nights at 9:15 pm. As always, the shows are at the main fountain garden across from the observatory. They combine waters sprays, colored lights and music. Guests must wear masks and maintain social distancing. You must also have a ticket.
There will be live music courtesy of ‘Just Because’ tonight (Friday July 24th) at Constitution Yards on the Riverfront from 6-9 pm.
The News Journal reported that The Queen in Wilmington reopens today (July 24th)! They’re debuting a brand new bar called Knights Bar. There will be live music tonight and tomorrow. Performances are free as long as you are sitting a table using bar service. The kitchen will reopen eventually, but they are not serving food yet.
Frawley stadium and The Wilmington Blue Rocks are debuting “Movie Nights At Frawley Stadium.” Movies will be displayed on a state-of-the-art high definition LED display placed on the infield. Tonight they’re showing the Sandlot and tomorrow they’re featuring The Goonies. Tickets are $11 and that includes popcorn and a bottled water. Tickets are limited to ensure social distancing.
The Delaware state fair is underway in Harrington. It does a look a little different this year, as the concert series is canceled. Fair-goers can still enjoy rides, food, and more!
