DelDOT Finished $100 Million In Infrastructure Projects During The First Half of This Year
Since COVID-19 restrictions decreased traffic volume, DelDOT contractors completed several projects. In fact, they completed $100 million in infrastructure projects during the first half of 2020. They finished the new Wilmington Transit Center in May. It is a bus hub for about 80% of bus routes that go through Wilmington. Downstate, they completed rehabilitation of two major bridges over the Lewes-Rehoboth canal. DelDOT also expects to finish up work on other major projects during the second half of this year, including the Marsh Road/195 interchange,the 195/141 interchange and the widening of route 24 in Sussex County.
