The Best Time To See The Rare ‘Snow Moon’ This Weekend!
When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie…
The Snow Moon is coming this weekend! That’s the name of the full moon that will be lighting up the night sky on Saturday and Sunday. NASA says the so-called “snow moon” will reach its peak at 2:33 a.m. Eastern time on Sunday. Some experts say this qualifies as a Supermoon, which is a phrase coined by NASA that is “when a full moon appears at perigee [its closest point to Earth]” and therefore seems slightly brighter and larger than a regular full moon.
