A restaurant’s dining table should have a germ score of 10 or less, hopefully zero majority of the time. To make matters worse, a score of ten or less is considered sanitary!
The bar side of our credit cards that we swipe with, are dirtier than the front side with our names.
In comparison to 285, cash bills scored 160 and coins were just a bit lower, at 136. So, they’re up there as well on the germ scale, but not as bad as those cards.
Get this, the dirtiest card that was tested for germs during the research study was found to be even dirtier than a McDonald’s fast food door handle and a New York City subway pole. A subway pole!
Might be useful to use that dirty little monster in your purse to buy some hand sanitizer the next time you go out. Just remember to put it to use after swiping!
