Yes, you read that right.

The Brandywine Valley SPCA is kicking it up a notch. They’re always finding new and innovative ways to bring attention to these adorable adoptables.

This time, they may have outdone themselves.

Take a look at their recent Facebook post explaining their newest campaign:

“Get Ready to Swipe Right on Your Paw-fect Match!🥰 Here’s a preview of our sweet singles, looking to mingle, at Saturday’s Speed Dating Adoption Event! Whether you are seeking tall, dark and handsome or small, energetic and independent, we have the pup for you! Stop by our Georgetown Campus this Saturday starting at noon for a very special, intimate adoption event. Move from station to station for short “dates” with our eligible bachelors and bachelorettes as you meet them in casual and more natural environments. Hear from staff and volunteers about your single and get to know them. Pause at any time to extend your date and welcome a new companion into your home. Event is rain or shine and we’re hoping this will give these pups a chance to meet the loving family they have been waiting for!”

These Delaware Fast Food Joints Have Treats For Your Dog

It’s true that plenty of restaurants in Delaware go above and beyond to serve up delicious eats for their human customers – but now they’re taking things one step further by offering treats for your dog.

While most dogs have probably tried the famous Pup Cup from Starbucks, some of these other treats aren’t as well known.  My dog LOVES pup cups.  She eats it up so fast and then the small cup is left hanging on her little nose.  It’s too cute!  She will be pumped to know there are other places we can go now too!

Unfortunately, these specialty treats are usually only available upon request so you’ll have to ask when stopping for a bite with your pup.  They really should add these items to the menu.  Why do we have to guess?

I wonder if there are other places with options for dogs?  Why is it on trend to keep these treats a secret?  This is why we have to spoil our pets ourselves.

So, where are these fast food joints with treats for our pups?  Reader’s Digest put together a list and these are the places here in Delaware.

  • Dairy Queen

    Your dog will go nuts for a Pup Cup. It’s a mini sundae with Dairy Queen’s vanilla soft serve, topped with a dog biscuit.

  • Sonic

    It makes sense that Sonic would be a pet-friendly restaurant, since you never even step foot inside. You order and eat in your car or at an outdoor dining area. If you have your pet with you, they’ll often bring you a doggie treat so you won’t have to eat alone.

  • Dunkin’

    Some Dunkin’ locations offer puppy lattes, or a Cup for Pup,  a small cup of whipped cream.

  • Ben & Jerry’s

    Frozen treats made specially for dogs

  • Shake Shack

    The Pooch-ini is a custom-made dessert consisting of dog biscuits, peanut butter sauce and vanilla custard.  Reader’s Digest says you can also ask for a Bag O’Bones, which is five ShackBurger dog biscuits in a convenient doggy bag.

  • Chick-fil-A

    Just ask for a treat at the window.  They’ve been known to have them
