7-Year-Old Plans A Prom For His Nanny Who Missed Hers Because of Covid-19.
Seven-year-old Curtis Rodgers of Raleigh, North Carolina hadn’t seen his nanny, Rachel Chapman, in two months because of COVID-19. He wanted to throw her a prom because she had to miss her senior prom. “I planned it out because Rachel probably wanted to see me a lot. She also is one of the best people I’ve known.” Curtis said. The prom king had the whole night planned. Curtis made sure that his bowtie matched her dress. He served their favorite afternoon snack, peanut butter and apples. To maintain social distancing, he used a pool noodle. Google served as a DJ playing Rachel’s favorite songs. Rachel said she knows a he put a lot of thought into his prom.
