New Delivery Protocol For The USPS
The U.S. Postal Service has a new delivery protocol to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Instead of ringing the doorbell, carriers will knock on your door if you have a package that requires a signature. You won’t be asked for a signature, carriers will ask for your name and leave the package in a safe place for retrieval. Do not approach your mail carrier to take the package. According to the CDC, WHO, and the Surgeon General, there is no evidence that COVID-19 is being spread through mail and packages. USPS is also making sure its 600,000 employees have access to masks, gloves and sanitizing products.
We appreciate our mail carriers and postal workers who are continuing to work hard for us during this time!
