Eco Plastic Products of Delaware Turns Plastic Bags Into Benches and Picnic Tables…
They’ve been around for about a year but they’re growing quickly!
A (relatively) new non-profit company called Eco Plastic Products of Delaware is turning plastic bags into park benches and picnic tables. Several schools across the area are now in possession of Eco Plastic Products benches and tables. The company also has benches in Delcastle Recreation Area. It takes 30,000 plastic bags to make one bench. In addition to helping the environment, the company provides job opportunities for people who may have a harder time finding a job. The organization opened a new art gallery on March 5th at its manufacturing site on Germay Drive in Wilmington.
