Newark Corporal Named Officer Of The Month By Friends Of Fusion Foundation
A local law enforcement officer has been honored for his dedication to helping children. Andrew Pagnotti, is the Newark Corporal named officer of the month by Friends of Fusion Foundation.
The connection between people and our law enforcement officers is vital to the health and strength of our community. Corporal Andrew Pagnotti displays a passion for that connection every day in his line of work.
In a recent Facebook post they wrote: “Congratulations to Corporal Andrew Pagnotti, who was named the Friends of Fusion Foundation Officer of the Month. Corporal Pagnotti is a School Resource Officer, who is a shining example of the School Resource Officer program. Corporal Pagnotti represents the true meaning of a SRO, in that he bridges the gap between law enforcement and the schools, as a beacon for our school age children.”
In Corporal Pagnotti’s honor, the Friends of Fusion Fitness Foundation made a donation to the Delaware KIDS Fund, helping Kids In Distressed Situations.
The Delaware Kids Fund is dedicated to providing goods and services to children at risk and in distressed situations. The Delaware KIDS Fund provides essential services to local young people, including, but not limited to, the following:
- Financial support for essential needs, such as clothing, shelter and food, thereby filling the gaps in the “social safety net;”
- Financial support towards counseling and mentoring for abused, grief stricken or disease-afflicted children;
- Scholarships, fellowships, and education grants for students in grades K-12, including support for special needs and learning-disabled students.
It’s always a feel good story when you see a Newark Corporal named Officer of the Month for his efforts in helping children.
