Wawa store number 801, situated on Philadelphia Pike in Wilmington has some of the friendliest staff around. A couple of weeks ago we took a poll on our Facebook page asking for the best Wawas in the Brandywine Valley.
Several comments mentioned the staff at the Edgemoor Wawa, particularly Peg.
Peg is a staple in this location. Everyone loves her bright personality and warm smile. She may or may not know what a difference she is making in so many people’s lives. If she didn’t know, well, she does now.
The staff here at WJBR presented her with a plaque, letting her know just how much she is appreciated.

When presented with the framed print out of recognition, Peg was “so happy and appreciative that we recognized her. She loves all of us. She has it [the plaque] displayed on the counter,” according to Jim Antes- Station Manager at Mix 99.5 WJBR in Wilmington.
One Reddit user even commented : “If you’re having a bad day Peg will cheer you up even if she is too. ” (Thunderhank)
Peg, if you weren’t already aware, it seems that you are making a huge difference in your community.
It’s nice to hear about people in your neighborhood who are doing great things just by being themselves. Peg from the Wilmington Wawa is definitely one of those people.
