Nick’s Pizza Pop Up In Wilmington Finally Gets Store Front.
A little over a year after he visited the WJBR studios, Nick Vouras is finally opening his own pizza shop.
In April of 2022, Nick had been making his pizza’s out of the kitchen at Kozy Korner in Wilmington.
During the height of the pandemic, Nick started to make pizza crusts that he has since perfected. Theses bubbly pies with pockets of air and crevices of oil are what dreams are made of.
He brought in a few of his specialties to the studios for us all to try and he also provided lunch for our entire staff and volunteers at last year’s Turkeython fundraiser.
Nick is a genuine and all around nice guy and we are so happy to see this next step come to fruition for him.
Nick’s store front location will be at 1903 Newport Gap Pike near Prices Corner. He will be open to the public a few days a week and will offer some of his faves; the Detroit style pizza, Circle’s Tomato Pie, Cheesesteaks, Chicken cutlets and more.
“I’d like to thank everyone. This would not be possible without all the people supporting me. I’m forever grateful for everyone,” Nick told me when discussing his new venture.
