Small Staffed Wilmington Bakery to Assist Food Bank Drive Thru at Frawley Stadium
Despite having a small team, Cinnamon Bun Exchange, a startup bakery based in Wilmington, Delaware will be participating in the large December New Castle County Drive-Thru Mobile Pantry event to help distribute food and desserts to families and individuals in need.
It’s been part of Cinnamon Bun Exchange’s mission since the very beginning. Tony Rizzo, co-owner of the bakery stated, ““Finding ways to give back to first responders and critical support personnel is a key part of our business model. It’s only right that we show our appreciation for local heroes in times like this”.
The Food Bank of Delaware is coordinating activities at 11:00 am on December 18th at Frawley Stadium in Wilmington. Drive Thru Mobile Pantries are to provide much needed relief to thousands in the county. The event is calling for volunteers and staff from the Food Bank of Delaware, National Guard, and Red Cross. Cinnamon Bun Exchange will be supporting these efforts by providing help to the Chase Center’s hospitality staff as they provide lunch to staff and volunteers assisting the Mobile Pantry.
