Florida News Anchor Receives a Life Saving Letter After Viewer Notices A Lump On Her Neck
This is an amazing story of fellow human beings simply looking out for each other. A total stranger went out of her way to write a life saving letter to Florida news anchor, Victoria Price. The letter read “Hi I just saw your news report. What concerned me is the lump on your neck. Please have your thyroid checked. It reminds me of my neck and mine turned out to be cancer. Take care of yourself”
Victoria, who is just 28 years old, took the listener’s advice. It turns out the lump was in fact thyroid cancer. She had surgery this week to have the tumor, thyroid and a couple of lymph nodes removed. Victoria wrote on Instagram that they’re hopeful this is her first and last procedure. She said “Had I never received that e-mail I never would have called my doctor and the cancer would have continued to spread.” Victoria updated her viewers after surgery to let everyone know that the cancer did not spread to outer lying lymph nodes. We’re praying for a quick and speedy recovery, Victoria!!!
