Fortnite’s Party Royale Hosted ‘We The People’ Program Focused on Conversations About Racial Injustice in America

Fortnite’s Party Royale feature aired an in-game showing of We The People on Saturday, part of a series of conversations around race in America.
The program, hosted by Van Jones of CNN, included journalists Elaine Welteroth and Jemele Hill, and musicians Killer Mike and Lil Baby. The panel discussed systemic racism in media, culture, and entertainment.
The Party Royale playlist was introduced in Fortnite in April 2020, a separate non-battle, social space for Fortnite players. Party Royale has hosted virtual concerts from musicians like Diplo, Deadmau5, Young Thug, Noah Cyrus, and Travis Scott. They have also shown full movies in Party Royale lately.
