The widely popular Halo franchise game from 2007, critically acclaimed to be the best Halo of all time, Halo 3, will soon be available on PC. To this date, it has only been available on Xbox consoles. 343 Industries, the developers, announced that Halo 3 will release on PC through the Master Chief Collection on July 14. Halo 3 will go live on PC at 10AM PT July 14.
343 Industries had just finished beta-testing the game on PC, and made their announcement afterwards.
Once it reaches PC, it will be among other Halo franchise games that have also been brought to PC, such as Halo: Reach, Halo Combat Evolved, and Halo 2 in MCC. Halo 3: ODST and Halo 4 will also be coming to PC in the future, thus completing the package.
The release of Halo 3 for PC will also mark the start of a new season to Master Chief Collection.
In other Halo news, 343 is finally going to reveal more of Halo Infinite during the Xbox 20/20 event on July 23. Microsoft has only given fans a teaser trailer of Halo Infinite thus far, and has left practically everything in the dark when it comes to the next addition of the Halo franchise. Halo Infinite will be available for Xbox consoles, and PC.
