Rumor Has It Call of Duty 2020 Will Be a ‘Black Ops’ Reboot
Call of Duty 2020 is reportedly a reboot of the campaign that started in 2010, Black Ops. Neither Treyarch or Activision have commented on the various leaks that are unveiling, and all in all, Call of Duty fans are still in the dark about the next addition to the Call of Duty franchise.
Rumor has it, the next Call of Duty, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will be released for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox X, and PC. Alex Mason and Frank Woods will be switching roles in the new game. New voice actors are assigned to these characters along with others, as was the same with the 2019 reboot of Modern Warfare. Apparently, Frank Woods is coming to Modern Warfare and Warzone in future updates, as an Operator. A new Easter Egg also suggests Woods will be placed in something known as a “Spire Box”. No one understands what this means just yet, but what we do know from Black Ops, the idea of Woods being in a “box” rather than Mason suggests potential role reversal.
