Jessica Simpson Recreates Infamous Magazine Cover With A Coronavirus Twist
Jessica Simpson is showing fans how she is passing the time until the coronavirus pandemic passes. The singer recreated one of her most popular magazine moments from 2003. On the Rolling Stone “Housewife of the Year” cover, she is posed in underwear, a tight wifebeater, and high heels while using a Swifter.
Jessica recreated the moment for the current era, and it’s slightly modified. She is in baggy sweats and slippers holding a Swifter, Lysol, and a box of gloves. “Housewife of the Year looks a little different these days,” she captioned the photo. Under the picture, A few Bravo housewives chimed in. Kyle Richards wrote, “Yesss! Coming join #RHOBH,” while Melissa Gorga from Real Housewives of New Jersey wrote, “We need you!” Teddi Mellencamp responded with, “Yes!!” which laughing emojis.
Jessica has been regularly posting about her home-life since she started self-quarantining with her family. On one post, she wrote, “I know people are struggling with fear, anxiety, and also with sorrowful loss. My faith in God, knowing that with him all things are possible, has been my strength when I feel overwhelmed. I humbly ask that you join me in praying for the leaders around the world including our president, governors, mayors, politicians, scientists, doctors, and all healthcare workers. Prayer is not political. Prayer is necessary. We are all in this together, so we must stand united. I encourage each and every one of you to stay home, stay strong, and stay on bended knee.”
