3-Pound Delaware Cheesesteak Named A “Must Try”
Well if you are hungry and looking for something massive a 3-pound Delaware cheesesteak has been called a “must try.”
There are many factors that go into creating the perfect cheesesteak. Is the meat chopped or kept in slices? Is the roll seeded or too soft? Do you go with whiz or throw on some American cheese.
EVERYONE has their cheesesteak preferences and believe theirs are the only correct ones. Loyalty runs DEEP when it comes to steak shops.
If we are talking cheesesteaks in Philly my favorite spot is Sonny’s on Market Street in Old City. Sonny’s is not only delicious but has saved me a headache in the morning after a long night of “having fun.” It’s always been there for me.
But if you aren’t around Philly and want a cheesesteak that is filling and consistent this 3-pound Delaware cheesesteak is a “must try.”
Philly Bite Magazine gave tons of love to Tenderbones and named them the “must try” cheesesteak in the first state.
“There are several different cheesesteak joints throughout the state of Delaware. Still, TenderBones has earned a reputation for its massive, homemade versions. The restaurant’s owner, Chef Bones, personally prepares all of the food served at the shack, ensuring the quality and freshness of each bite. While TenderBones is primarily known for cheesesteaks, it also offers barbecue staples and homemade sides. However, the most popular dish at the restaurant is the 3-pound Philly cheesesteak, served in a Styrofoam container signed by the chef and numbered” according to Philly Bite Magazine.
Tenderbones Rib Shack is located at 2504 Red Lion Rd, Bear, DE 19701 and the menu goes beyond the massive steak and cheese combination.
The list didn’t stop at just number 1!
Claymont Steak Shop, Ioannoni’s Specialty Sandwiches, and Mike’s Famous Steaks & Subs, all made the list respectively.
So, cheesesteak tour anyone?
