Delaware Ranks As One Of The Most Boring States In The Country
Say what? The movie ‘Wayne’s World’ gave the wrong idea about the First State. Sure, we are small in size, but we’re big on fun. There are so many things to do here, how can we be a boring state? Maybe we should keep it this way, so we don’t have tourists flocking here and taking up our space at the lovely beaches and hiking trails this summer.
In a recent study done by WalletHub, Delaware was ranked as the 48th most fun state in the country. With pure enjoyment in mind, WalletHub said they compared the 50 states across 26 key indicators of a jolly good time that won’t break the bank. They range from movie costs to accessibility of national parks to nightlife options per capita.
Delaware ranked 50th in movie theaters per capita and 47th for golf clubs and country clubs, when looking at the top 5 and lowest in each category.
The only states coming in lower that Delaware are West Virginia at 49 and Mississippi at 50. You can read the full study here.
