If you’re from Delaware or nearby, you’re no stranger to the beautiful beaches we have here in the First State.

Really, the Delaware beaches have something for everyone.  Lewes is a quiet, quaint little town with bike trails and charming restaurants.  Rehoboth Beach is a great place for the family with all the things the boardwalk has to offer for all ages.

Travel & Leisure put together a list of 15 of the best small towns for Summer vacation in the US, and one dreamy town in Delaware made the cut. So, what town is it?  None other than Dewey Beach.

Here’s a little bit of what they had to say.  Though the year-round population of Dewey Beach sits at about 332 residents, its summer crowd is much, much larger. But, even with the throngs of beach-goers, this Southern Delaware destination deserves a spot atop your summertime vacation list. With the ocean on one side and the bay on the other, it’s a watery paradise

We all love food. And in Delaware, food is serious business. Did you know that there are over 2.000 restaurants in the First State? But we’re looking for the Best Restaurant In Every City In Delaware. No matter where you are in the state.

To be one of the most popular restaurants in any town within the state is a big deal. There’s clearly a lot of competition. It’s hard for me to pick my favorite because of all the different types of cuisine. I may be able to pick out my favorite Mexican, Japanese, Italian, but to choose an overall favorite is tough!

If you ever wondered if your personal favorite is the most popular in town, now you’ll have the answer. There are over 70 towns in Delaware to choose from.  I used Yelp to find the highest rated restaurant in each city/town. So EVERY city and town in Delaware may be a slight exaggeration, but some of the small towns don’t even have restaurants.

I hope you’re not hungry!  If you are, you’ll be running out for a bite after drooling over this list of restaurants you’ll want to try.
