New Target Is Opening In Middletown
You can never have too many! A new Target is opening in Middletown.
According to the Delaware Business Times, Target has purchased land off of Middletown-Warwick road.
County land records show the land was purchased back at the beginning of January.
The Northside Shopping Center website shows a “Proposed Target” portion of the map. With this land purchase it looks like the rumors are true and Target will open it’s fifth store in the state of Delaware.
The Northside Shopping Center features a Wine and Spirits, Burger King, Popeye’s Chicken, a Dash In, and a Harbor Freight Tools across the street.
The Delaware Business Times reports the construction of the new Target would start in just a few weeks with 2024 as the target (pun intended) opening date.
Other nearby Target locations include locations at Brandywine Town Center off Concord Pike, the Christiana Mall, Prices Corner shopping center and on Route 13 in Dover.
The proposed Northside Shopping Center will be located at 465 Middletown Warwick Rd, Middletown, DE 19709.
Target is just one of many new large retail businesses coming to Delaware.
Huk, a performance fishing apparel line, recently opened up in the Tanger Outlets in Rehoboth. The new store is located next to Cole Haan.
