Conde Nast Traveler just published their “23 Best Places To Go in the U.S. in 2023” list.
The publication and website provides ideas on where to travel in the United States and all over the world.
The list takes a close look to the most fun places to visit and as they put it “buzzy up-and-comers”.
Conde Nast Traveler looks for destinations with new success stories ranging from;
“culinary and hotel renaissances to reinvigorated neighborhoods and comeback kids in the aftermath of Covid 19’s peak.”
The list includes amazing places like Anchorage, Alaska, Boston, California’s Central Coast, close-by Charles County Maryland, Park City Utah, Florida’s Everglades, the U.S. Virgin Islands and more.

We already knew that the centerpiece of our region was pretty special and making a huge comeback over the past decade or so. Conde Nast says that while our First State is known for it’s “breezy southern beach’s-but up north”, that Wilmington is drawing attention!
Mainly for our special destination restaurants and the city’s architecture!
But beyond the City of Wilmington, they point out the beauty of Wilmington’s “Chateau Country”, featuring the Nemours Estate, Winterthur and Hagley.
