Deanna And Justin To Emcee This Year’s Wilmington Jaycees Parade
The Wilmington Jaycees Parade is a longstanding tradition for Delaware.
The 58th Annual Parade will be held Saturday, Nov. 26, 2022 starting on Market Street in Wilmington.
In the past, the Jaycees Parade has featured an outstanding selection of local and national celebrities: Luke Matheny, 2011 Oscar winner for Best Live Action Short Film; Aubrey Plaza, star of NBC Comedy “Parks and Recreation”; Vince Papale who inspired the 2006 movie “Invincible”; A.J. Melendez of “American Idol Juniors”; Sean Patrick Thomas Co-Star of CBS Drama Series “The District” and movies, “The Last Dance” and “Cruel Intentions”; Heavyweight Boxing Champion Michael Spinks; Middleweight Boxing Champion Bernard Hopkins; Olympic Gold Medalist Dionna Harris; Television Stars “ER” Evette Freeman; “Welcome Back Kotter” star Ron Pallilo; Singers – Marilyn McCoo & Billy Davis Jr.; plus many other stars from Sports, Movies, Television, Theater, Publishing, Etc.
The Parade route is as follows:
- Starts at 2nd &Market St.
- Travels North on Market St.
- Past Reviewing Stand at 10th & Market St.
- Parade ends at 11th & Market St.

The Wilmington Jaycees is a premier young people’s organization, affiliated with the United States Junior Chamber of Commerce, made up of men and women between the ages of 21 and 40. The Jaycees help people through personal growth, leadership development, and community involvement.
