Delaware is due for a big Powerball winner!

Saturday’s (11/5/22) Powerball is worth a massive 1.6 BILLION DOLLARS with the 29 year annuity.  The one time cash payout is $702.4 million.

There’s not been a big Powerball winner in more than three months!  The odds are astounding…1 in 292.2 million!

This is the largest jackpot in US history.

I have a feeling the next winner will be right here in Delaware!

We have not had a Delaware Powerball jackpot winner since December 2016 when a winning ticket worth $121.6 million was purchased at Selbyville Goose Creek.

Good fortune seems to be running rampant in the Delaware Valley with our Eagles being 8-0, the Union moving on to the MLS Cup Final in Los Angeles this weekend, and of course the Phillies in the World Series!

They are all winners, so why not you!  It’s YOUR TIME…I saw it!

I think you are due to join these  over $100 Million BIG Delaware Powerball Winners over the years!

  • $215 million on 10/9/09 sold in Seaford.
  • $174 million on 2/28/09 sold in Dover
  • $121 million on 12/17/16  sold in Selbyville

The last time someone in New Castle County won over a million happened on May 2, 2018, and that ticket was sold at Books & News In Newark.

Delaware is due for a big Powerball winner!  And WJBR hopes it’s YOU!

Here Are the Philadelphia Phillies' Walk-Up Songs

The Phillies have gone against all odds and will be at the 2022 World Series. Of course, our Phillies have lots of great walk-up songs. Also, by now, everyone pretty much knows that the team’s chosen anthem is Callum Scott’s cover of Robyn’s “Dancing on my Own.”

But, aside from that jam, plenty of Phillies walk-up songs have been heard throughout games this season. Many of them are rap songs, but some have some rock. A few artists include Kanye “Ye” West, Frank Sinatra, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Eagles.

Read on for some of our favorite players’ walk-up jams, via the Phillies!
