Trained and was active with Christine as Delaware foster care parents for more than four years. Twenty children spent anytime from an overnight to nearly a year in their care. Mike and Christine adopted two of those placed with them

Sports dad and pop-pop: swimming, softball, baseball, basketball, soccer. Has been known to officiate or announce at many events. Also can be found near the out-of-bounds markers at any one of several golf courses in the area
