Kennett Square Restaurant Is One Of The Most Popular For Outdoor Dining In The US
One restaurant known by many has recently been recognized at a national level for their outdoor dining.
While the weather in Delaware and Pennsylvania obviously doesn’t allow for dining outside all year round, we still have a few months left to go.
OpenTable released their list of the top 100 restaurants for outdoor dining across the country and the Kennett Square Restaurant, 1906 at Longwood Gardens, is on the list.
According to the restaurant website, 1906, is named in honor of the year Pierre S. du Pont (1870-1954) purchased the grounds in 1906. The land was developed into Longwood Gardens. 1906 is a seasonal dining option with a menu focusing on locally sourced ingredients.
Additionally, plan to enjoy some music during your visit to Longwood Gardens. This summer you can listen to the music of Taylor Swift playing at the Festival of Fountains.
Two Philadelphia Restaurants Make Top 100 List
In addition to 1906, Philadelphia is home to two other restaurants making OpenTable’s list.
Parc at Rittenhouse Square, a Steven Starr concept serving French cuisine. Enjoy menu items like Croque Madame and Moules Frites, among other dishes with a French flair.
Also, Talula’s Gardens in Washington Square, another Starr restaurant. At Talula’s you can expect a menu full of European favorites, including Mediterranean Branzino and Lamb Bolognese.
