Powerball Ticket Worth $1M Sold at Delaware County Wawa
Some lucky Pennsylvania Lottery player has a prize-winning Powerball ticket worth $1 million.
According to the Pennsylvania Lottery, the winner matched all five white balls from the Monday, March 17, drawing: 11-18-23-38-60. However, the individual did not match the red Powerball number 9. Matching all five white balls scores the $1 million prize.
Pennsylvania Lottery officials confirmed with NBC10 Philadelphia that the winning Powerball ticket was sold at the Wawa on Fairview Road in Woodlyn, Delaware County. The store will receive a $5,000 bonus from the Pennsylvania Lottery for selling the winning ticket.
Since no one won Monday night’s jackpot, the Powerball grew to $416 million for the drawing on Wednesday, March 19. If the winner requests a lump sum payout, the prize would be $194 million.
Lottery winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prize.
