New Castle County Man Wins Maryland Lottery
A New Castle County man now has some walking around money after winning the Maryland Lottery.
A scratch-0ff or scratcher can really change your day or life in just a few seconds.
A Bear, Delaware resident realized this after visiting a Food Lion in Elkton.
The New Castle County resident bought a scratch-off on the Pulaski Highway and scored $50,000!
“During his years of playing, the New Castle County resident has won a few $5,000 prizes, several at the $1,000 level and “a bunch of $500s,” he said. The $50,000 score was head and shoulders above the others, the winner added” according to the Maryland Lottery website.
The Delawarean plans to keep on playing the lottery and buy a new car with his winnings.
He does say he prefers to play the Pennsylvania Lottery and Maryland Lottery when he can.
Maybe he thinks those states are good luck?
If you want to try your luck he purchased the $5 Ca$h Multiplier at Lion #1558 at 1001 East Pulaski Highway in Elkton and the store will get $500 for selling the winnign ticket.
The Ca$h Multiplier game went on sale in June with eight top prizes; seven are unclaimed the Maryland Lottery says.
