Manayunk Bar Plans A Barbie Pop-Up
A Manayunk bar is putting the “bar” in Barbie.
The new Barbie movie is everywhere and the hype is hard to escape!
Barbie fans can stop by Manayunk for a Barbie bar pop-up starting next week.
Blondie in Manayunk is encouraging their patrons to “come on Barbie, let’s go party” starting on July 17th.
The Barbie pop-up will only last a week and conclude on July 28th.
A Barbie pop-up in Manayunk wouldn’t be done without some Barbie-themed drinks!
Blondie’s Barbie Party Will Feature Some Great Cocktails
Blondie’s doll centric cocktail list will include the Malibu Barbie inspired by the classic bay breeze drink but will include a pink twist.
A raspberry martini called the Blondie Bombshell and cocktail named Ken’s Kiss will also be on the menu. The Ken’s Kiss drink will be frozen rose aka froze.
No Barbie party would be complete without something sweet to eat.
Barbie’s Berry Bliss Pancakes are pink pancakes topped with fresh berries and Pretty in Pink Cake will be everyone’s favorite funfetti flavor with, of course, pink.
Blondie Philly says the pop-up “An atmosphere devoted to making all of your magical, BARBIE dreams come true, chick flicks playing & all! Bring Ken & the rest of your Barbie crew, you won’t want to miss this!”
Reservations are recommended for the party and can be made here.
“Blondie is a neighborhood bistro on the corner, housed in a recently renovated space on Main Street in the heart of the booming Manayunk neighborhood. Serving craft cocktails & American classics with a twist” according to their website.
Blondie is located at 4417 Main St, Philadelphia, PA 19127.
Blondie also has a Barbie themed champagne wall!
The new Barbie movie starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling comes out July 21, 2023.
“After being expelled from the utopian Barbie Land for being less-than-perfect dolls, Barbie and Ken go on a journey of self-discovery to the real world” according to Wikipedia.
