Delaware Has A Top Ranked Pumpkin Beer

It’s Pumpkin everything season and Delaware has a top ranked pumpkin beer!

You can’t leave the house without running into a new pumpkin product.

But it seems amongst all the pumpkin overload the pumpkin beer has been a staple for years!

Delish.com recently released their Top 20 Pumpkin Beers for Fall 2022.

So how did they decide on who ranked where? Taste and preference.

Delish said their methodology included “Delish staff favorites, regional picks, some faves from restaurant folks, and the best-reviewed pumpkin brews on the internet.”

Dogfish Head place very high this year and it’s no surprise.

Dogfish Head Punkin’ Ale was ranked just outside the Top 10!

Coming in at #15 the annual ale was just narrowed out by Flying Dog The Fear Pumpkin Ale at #14.

Delish describes the beer as “This pumpkin beer is warmed with nutmeg, cinnamon, and clove to create a full-bodied brown ale with plenty of brown sugar flavor. Dogfish Head likes to change up the packaging of Punkin Ale. Last year, the design featured a glow-in-the-dark element, while this year, it’s got sunflowers and a boisterous pumpkin.”

The top spot on the Top 20 Pumpkin Beers for Fall 2022 was Two Roads Roadsmary’s Baby.

Delish said this about the top beer: “Go traditional with this pumpkin ale from Two Roads. It’s aged in rum barrels and has delicious notes of pumpkin, spices, vanilla, oak, and rum.”

The first coffee and pumpkin beer on the list! It has notes of nutmeg and of course fresh brewed coffee!

  • 4. Sam Adams Sweater Weather Variety Pack

The only thing better than one beer is four beers! Their Jack-O pumpkin beer got them on this list.

  • 5. Allagash Ghoulship

New Items On Delaware Chick-Fil-A Menus

Chick-Fil-A couldn’t get anymore popular! So it’s great to see three new items on Delaware Chick-Fil-A menus across the state.

Chick-Fil-A has not been known to add many new items over the years. So this new menu item initiative is a special occurrence.  We won’t forget about the Mac N Cheese, that is a fairly “newish” item.  And how awesome is it that we can now buy the sauces at the grocery store?

The Chick-Fil-A experience is unlike any other! Super clean restaurants, great food, and every employee telling you “my pleasure.”  And please try to tell me about a drive thru line that is more efficient than any Chick-Fil-A you’ve ever been to.  I’ll wait.  There’s a reason a Texas owner was asked to help out an outdoor Covid testing line back in 2020.  No one knows how to wrangle a long line of cars better than Chick-Fil-A.

Some of these new items are being tested in certain markets and might not be available here in Delaware just YET, but keep an eye out for these new treats at your local Chick-Fil-A.

Chick-Fil-A couldn’t get anymore popular! So it’s great to see three new items on Delaware Chick-Fil-A menus across the state.

Are you hungry now?! Check out this “new age” grocery store!

    • Autumn Spice Milkshake

According to Chick-Fil-A’s website “Hand-spun the old-fashioned way, this milkshake is autumn spice and everything nice. This limited-time seasonal offering combines Chick-fil-A Icedream® dessert with warm fall flavors like cinnamon and crunchy bits of brown sugar spice cookies. Topped with whipped cream and a cherry*, this fall treat is the perfect way to signify the season.”

Chick-Fil-A doesn’t add many new milkshake flavors to their lineup so this is special!

    • Grilled Spicy Deluxe Chicken Sandwich

Chick-Fil-A’s website described this sandwich as “grilled chicken marinated in a spicy seasoning served on a toasted Multigrain Brioche Bun with Colby-Jack cheese, lettuce and tomato. The sandwich delivers a lighter, grilled version of a guest favorite, the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. “

    • Upgraded Grilled Chicken Nuggets

According to Eat ThisDue to a mixup with the chain’s longstanding grilled chicken recipe, which inadvertently included an undeclared dairy allergen, the company will be upgrading all its grilled chicken items to make sure the questionable ingredient is left out.”

So the nuggies aren;t exactly new just upgrade and safer for people to eat.

Pennsylvania Has 8 Haunted Hotels That Will Give You Nightmares

Welcome to the spooky season. Of course, there are plenty of great haunted houses and haunts in Pennsylvania, but what about some actual haunted hotels? We have those, too.

I did some digging and found a great article via OnlyinYourState.com that names eight haunted hotels in the Keystone State. I knew we had a few, but having eight haunted hotels makes Pennsylvania the perfect state to celebrate Halloween. “If you are partial to ghost stories, haunted tales, and spooky happenings, a little paranormal activity might be just what your overnight getaway needs,” OnlyinYourState.com says in the article. “And, if you’re tired of the generic hotel experience, you’re in luck. Look no further. Below you’ll find a list of some of the most haunted hotels in Pennsylvania. Even if you don’t encounter a ghost — and you very well might — you’ll leave with some fascinating tales to tell.”

I’m actually pretty easily scared, so a real-life ghost story would most likely scare me off from an overnight stay, unless I was with something who could talk sense into me. Either way, I really think all of these hotels look interesting- almost historical. Read on for eight haunted hotels in Pennsylvania via OnlyinYourState.com and find more information on all of the hotels here. It’s worth noting that most of these hotels don’t claim to be haunted, so there are no guarantees that you’ll run into Casper during your stay. But, it’s still a fun idea, if you’re into ghost hunting or that sort of activity.
