Fifer Orchards in Delaware Created A Pac-Man Style Corn Maze Called Pac-Maize
Fifer Orchards, located in Camden-Wyoming, Delaware, has opened a massive Pac-Man style corn-maze. Comically labeled on their website, “The Pac Maize,” visitors can expect to navigate a six-acre corn maze that is similar to the maze used in the classic arcade game, Pac-Man.
This was all done in honor of the game’s 40th anniversary. Pac-Man was released in 1980 and involves players making their way through a maze while being chased by ghosts. The objective of the game is to eat all the dots in the maze without getting caught by the ghosts.
Fifer Orchards plans to keep, “The Pac Maize,” open until October 31st. The paths in the maze have been made extra wide this year for social distancing purposes. There are also brain teaser stations hidden throughout.
Entrance to the maze is currently by appointment only.
