Tiffany Haddish and Common recently went on a virtual date. On Wednesday (Apr. 22), Haddish and Common both took to Instagram to share a video of their experience.

“Check out my Virtual date yall,” Haddish wrote in the caption of her post. “I wore the black dress (drawers optional) for my @bumble virtual date with @common this weekend.”

“He sent me flowers, we ordered food, and we talked into the night. Sending you love at home,” Haddish continued. “Now get on @bumble and find yourself someone worth looking cute for!”

Although the comedian/actress and rapper/actor actually went on a virtual date, they both are partners with the dating app Bumble, which the virtual date was in promotion of. A fan asked Haddish on Twitter if the date was an ad or if it was real, and the comedian/actress replied, “real!!!” Haddish also told another fan that the date was “both.”

“My first virtual date,” Common wrote in the caption of his post. “This weekend, I took @tiffanyhaddish on a @bumble virtual date. We talked about our goals, we ordered food (for ourselves and for the frontline workers at hospitals in our community,) and we danced.”

“Connection is more important than ever right now. Stay home, and stay safe with us,” Common concluded.

The Bumble curated video showed how Haddish and Common matched with each other on the app as well as their preparation for the date and the date itself. Take a look below.
