Bob Seger Cancels Appearance at New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival
Fans looking forward to seeing Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival will be disappointed by this news.
Per ABC affiliate WGNO, the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Foundation announced that Seger was forced to back out of the 50th anniversary of the festival “due to a scheduling conflict.”
While this is certainly a bummer for fans, there is a silver (bullet) lining to this news: At least the reason for canceling has nothing to do with Seger’s health. In 2017, Seger had to postpone his “Runaway Train” tour due to a spinal condition that required surgery and months of recovery time.
Fortunately, Seger is back to full-health and currently touring North America with a show tomorrow night (January 19) in Columbus, Ohio. A complete list of upcoming tour dates, along with ticket information, can be found at BobSeger.com.
